In line with the increasing population and rapid urban development in Tashkent, a metro line is planned to ensure the integration of New Tashkent with the existing city. The line is projected to be approximately 21 km in length, consisting of 9 stations. Designed to accommodate an estimated daily passenger capacity of 230,000, this line aims to meet the growing transportation demand, reduce road traffic, and enhance urban accessibility. In addition, the project is envisioned not only as a transportation solution, but also as a strategic infrastructure investment that supports sustainable urban growth.
While designing the Metropark station, a multimodal transportation system was envisioned in which the metro, bus, tram, bicycle routes, and parking areas operate in an integrated manner.
With this approach, the station is structured not merely as a stop, but as a transportation hub that enables fast and comfortable transfers between different modes of transport.
A multimodal transportation hub integrating metro, tram, and bus stops
Integration of parking areas with private vehicle–public transport connectivity
Safe and uninterrupted pedestrian connections between systems located at different levels
Integrated bicycle routes and bicycle ramps connected to the station surroundings
A user-oriented, accessible, and sustainable transportation approach
